Logline: After an alien invasion destroys most life on Earth, a scientist mother must keep her remaining child alive while trying to help the last pregnant mother reach the fabled land of Kaos City, the one safe place left in the post-apocalyptic American landscape.
Aliens invade Earth and destroy much of civilization, leaving the few living humans to recreate society. Ana must take her surviving son and the last pregnant mother known to be alive to the fabled safe zone of Kaos City. Ana must protect them from giant destructive robots, alien spiders and human scavengers all intent on killing them. If they find Kaos City, which was a retreat for transgender women and men before the invasion, will Ana lead the aliens and scavengers to the last safe place in America?
This movie follows in the tradition of post-apocalyptic thrillers like "The Walking Dead" and Cormac McCarthy’s "The Road," but the lead character this time is a mother recovering from the loss of her husband and one of her children while trying to survive the end of the world. Ana wants to give her son a normal life in a world where “normal” no longer means anything.
This movie provides the action and character development to make it a compelling addition to the sci-fi/thriller canon and has potential for further stories and merchandising opportunities based on the intellectual property.
